A recent survey conducted by TolunaQuick shows that 52.89% of the nation will be watching Wimbledon; the majority of which will be women, with 547 answering ‘yes.’ Furthermore, 1019 respondents voted ‘yes’ when asked if they would watch the final, with 35-54 year olds being the most popular age group.
It was interesting to see that Nadal, with 29.5% was the nation’s favourite to win the men’s final, and shortly after this survey was conducted he was knocked out of the competition. The second most popular answer was Djokovic with 20% of the votes…so let’s hope he does a little better! Brits had a clear favourite for the women’s final, with Sharapova receiving 40% of the votes.
When asked what tennis respondents preferred to watch, men’s tennis emerged as the favourite, with 64.83% of all respondents voting for this option. It was interesting to see that this was the consistent favourite from 18 year olds to 55+ years across Britain.
Whatever the result from Wimbledon…TolunaQuick’s prove to be an interesting read!
