TolunaQuick recently carried out a survey on the time people spent at their screens in a typical week and the health risks they think it may carry. The majority of our respondents answered that they used a laptop or computer at work, with 1713 respondents stating they used either daily. These respondents were then asked if they ever connected to work emails after hours, with 39.52% answering ‘yes.’
Many of you thought that spending a large portion of your work day and for some after work hours had no health risk, with 73.64% answering ‘no.’ But with so many people spending 21+ hours looking at a screen in a week, this cannot be good for your health or indeed your social life…right?! It was also interesting to see that females on average spent more hours at their screens per week than men do….does this mean that women perhaps work harder? I’ll leave that for you to decide!
