According to a recent TolunaQuick survey many of you will be venturing to sunnier climates this summer; a more popular option than staying at home and having daytrips….maybe it’s the rain?
61.4% of respondents answered ‘yes’ when asked if they would be holidaying this summer, with the preferred destination being Europe with 85.3% of the votes.
It was interesting to see that those of you who earn a larger income stated you would be visiting Europe this summer, but would be spending £2000+ on your holiday, whereas respondents, who earn less, stated they would be paying less for their vacation.
70.6% of respondents also said they would consider staying at home and going on daytrips instead of booking a holiday and jetting off. Interestingly this was consistent across all ages and income levels. Perhaps this year the weather has just put people off…because let’s face it, there are some lovely areas in Britain too!
